History

Hi-Tec Engineering Works was founded as a specialist M & E engineering and contracting company in 1990. The organization has successfully executed various mechanical and electrical projects both in Sri Lanka and overseas, and the field stretched out for Civil Projects also such as Container terminals, laboratories, hospitals, production facilities, offices and warehouses, dwelling units and residences, hotels and restaurants, amusement arcades and night clubs, Auditorium, Factories, Industrial Areas etc., The company originated by the name of Hi-Tec Engineering Works and expanded up to Hi-Tec Engineering Pvt. Ltd., On March 2018.

Strengths

The Directors and the Management of the company having vast experience in handling of large projects, accumulated over several years and through the handling of diverse mega scale of projects.

Our projects covered different fields such as:

• High & low tension electrical installations & maintenance
• Air-conditioning installations & maintenance
• Fire & burglar detection & protection systems
• Civil and structural projects
• Pc network projects
• Fresh water supply and drainage systems

Other areas into which our activities extend include the erection of pre-fabricated roofs and steel structures, and the fabrication and installation of aluminum doors and windows. We are well organized and equipped, with modern offices (our designs, project costing and accounting are fully computerized), long-serving, experienced and dedicated personnel, a range of modern tools and equipment, a sub-contracting capability extending to 050–200 technical personnel, in addition to our own staff and prudent banking support. We have worked successfully with leading architects, Contractors, Clients and consultants both Local & Foreign, on different projects and we enjoy a friendly relationship with them. We have also worked alongside and as sub-contractors to many leading international companies such as Mitsui Construction Co Ltd, Penta- Ocean Wakachiku JV, Sumitomo Densetsu Co Ltd, Hyundai Engineering & Constructions, Taisei Corporation, Shin Nippon Pvt. Ltd., Stock Engineering Services Ltd., and GIBS International etc., and currently working with Larsen & Toubro Limited, Kolon Global Corporation, BELA International Pvt. Ltd, etc.,
